The role You’ll deliver and assess the

RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design

to international students, create an engaging and inclusive classroom, and uphold assessment and compliance standards.

The role includes lesson preparation, assessment marking, student support, and industry-aligned learning.

Holder of

RII60520

(or higher in the same field).

TAE40116 or TAE40122

(or diploma/higher in adult education).

Minimum 5 years recent industry experience

in

civil construction design

and demonstrable

industry currency .

Proven experience delivering and assessing relevant qualifications.

Sound knowledge of the

principles of assessment & rules of evidence .

Effective

classroom management ,



time management and communication skills.

Confident

computer skills ;

LMS (Moodle or similar) experience

highly desirable.

Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment and support learners with varying English proficiency.

International cohort experience highly regarded.

Experience mapping and validating assessment tools for RII60520.

Familiarity with civil design software and standards (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12d, Australian Standards).

Experience with CRICOS compliance and supporting international student success.

Evidence of recent

CPD

and industry engagement.

The casual hourly rate is a clock-hour rate, which includes the 25% casual loading and is paid for all rostered teaching, preparation, marking, meetings and administrative work.
