The Opportunity:

The Strategy Graduate provides support in analysing market opportunities, assessing business performance, evaluating strategic initiatives, and contributing to long-term planning. The role provides exposure to commercial modelling, competitor analysis, strategic projects, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

The Strategy Graduate will also play an important role in helping to develop and refine future graduate programs, using insights from their experience to support program design, structure, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in foundational rotations to understand the business model, market positioning, operational footprint, and strategic priorities.
- Build capability in market analysis, financial modelling, problem solving, and structured thinking.
- Support enhancements to the graduate program, including collecting feedback, documenting learnings, and contributing ideas for future cohorts.
- Conduct market, competitor,



financial and strategic analysis to support recommendations, scenario modelling and business case development.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards and briefing papers for senior leaders, contributing to strategic planning cycles, workshops and documentation.
- Support the Corporate Program Management Office (CPMO) processes, including initiative prioritisation, benefit tracking, risk identification, portfolio reporting and maintaining core project registers and tools.
- Engage with project sponsors and PMO leads to gather project updates, monitor progress against milestones, identify interdependencies and ensure alignment to strategic objectives.
- Take ownership of a defined strategic workstream, such as a market-entry assessment, cost/benefit review, operating model analysis, or insights project.
- Develop project plans, undertake analysis, engage stakeholders, and prepare recommendations.
- Develop and deliver a formal presentation summarising key learnings, achievements, challenges and recommendations.
- Share insights that help shape and evolve future graduate development programs.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols relevant to your role and work environment.
- Actively identify and report physical and psychosocial hazards, near misses, or incidents
- Participate in safety activities such as training, team talks, and wellbeing initiatives.




- Contribute to a positive safety culture by looking out for other team members and speaking up when something doesn’t seem safe.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, using equipment and tools responsibly.
- Demonstrate care for your own safety and the safety of others in all aspects of your work.

The successful candidate will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Analytics or related field.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills, including ability to interpret financial and market data.
- Experience with Excel, modelling, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to distil complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and report preparation.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in structured and ambiguous environments.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Professional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about business strategy and market dynamics.
