Bulk Handling Australia (BHA) has been a leading supplier of Industrial Packaging across Australia and New Zealand for over 40 years. As a market leading supplier of FIBCs, IBCs, woven bags and industrial packaging solutions to the agriculture, mining, chemicals and food sectors BHA operates a national network of warehouse and distribution facilities across every Australian state and Current Zealand's North and South Islands.

Thrace Group is a global manufacturer and distributor of Industrial Packaging Geotextiles and FMCG packaging solutions, headquartered in Athens and listed on the Greek Exchange with operations across Europe and Oceania.

Following Thrace's acquisition of BHA in March 2026, BHA is looking to expand to both in its traditional markets, but more importantly, expanding to encompass the Thrace range of products in the ANZ and SE Asian markets.

The Role The Supply Chain Manager will build BHA's supply chain function from the ground up, starting with a robust and disciplined demand plan and a fit-for-purpose SandOP cadence.

The role will identify and develop global sourcing strategies and manufacturing capabilities across India, China and South East Asia, while optimising BHA's domestic national footprint,



and will go to tender on freight leveraging existing carrier relationships to build a more disciplined, cost-effective supply chain.

You will also look to build new capabilities within the organization, including but not limited to, establishing 4PL relationships, improved intermodal efficiencies and an online B2B sales channel.

Optimise BHA's domestic national footprint alongside global sourcing strategy.

Build a robust, disciplined demand plan as the foundation for supply chain decision-making.

Design and implement a greenfield, fit-for-purpose SandOP cadence across the business.

Lead the freight tender process, leveraging existing carrier and supplier relationships.

Build discipline and structure across end-to-end supply chain processes and systems.

Partner with Sales, Manufacturing and Finance to align supply chain decisions with business objectives.

Monitor and report on key supply chain KPIs, including forecast accuracy, segmentation health and freight cost performance

Skills Required

Demonstrated experience building demand planning and SandOP processes from a greenfield or low-maturity starting point.

Direct experience sourcing and managing manufacturing relationships across India, China and/or South East Asia.
