Sushi Brazilia is looking for an experienced and passionate Sushi & Sashimi Chef to join our food truck team in Melbourne.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality, presentation and consistency, and who is confident working in a fast-paced food truck environment.
About the role
- Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, nigiri and rolls
- Fish preparation, cutting and portioning
- Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Help with daily preparation and kitchen organisation
- Work as part of a small, friendly team
About you
- Previous experience as a sushi chef is preferred
- Strong sashimi and knife skills
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Able to work independently
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Experience in a food truck or quick-paced kitchen is an advantage
