The Role

We are seeking a highly capable TSPV cleared Infrastructure Engineer with strong Linux administration, infrastructure automation, and Cross Domain Solution experience.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of secure ICT infrastructure environments. Working closely with infrastructure specialists, security teams, and technical stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and highly available platforms supporting critical operational outcomes.

This role requires strong hands-on engineering capability across Linux-based environments, infrastructure automation, system reliability, configuration management, and Cross Domain technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure solutions aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Design, support, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
- Perform installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of hardware and software platforms.
- Manage and support Linux-based ICT infrastructure, including servers, authentication services, and network devices.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security posture.
- Apply operating system, firmware,



application, and security patches and updates.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible and related technologies.
- Create and maintain standardised system builds, deployment processes, and configuration management practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system issues.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations regarding platform improvements and optimisation opportunities.
- Contribute to infrastructure lifecycle management, modernisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and security specialists to deliver technical outcomes in a highly secure environment.

What You'll Need

- Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Linux-based ICT infrastructure.
- Strong experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible.
- Proven experience supporting or developing Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
- Experience maintaining infrastructure reliability through automation, monitoring, patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
- Experience working with version control systems and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Experience

- Experience using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience integrating security tools and automating operational processes.
- Experience working within highly secure or regulated environments.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure engineering and operational support.

Security Requirements Due to the nature of this engagement:

- Candidates must hold a current TSPV Security Clearance at the time of submission.
- Eligibility to obtain a clearance is not sufficient.
- Candidates must be Australian Citizens.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete additional suitability assessments prior to commencement.
- Vendor organisations must hold current DISP membership.
