Spyder Industries Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the company’s ICT systems and business operations at its Collie, Western Australia location.

The successful applicant will work closely with management, business users, developers, external vendors and ICT support personnel to assess existing systems, document business requirements and implement effective technology solutions.

About the Role The Systems Analyst will review the processes, procedures and methods used within the company’s existing ICT systems. The role will identify operational requirements and recommend system modifications, integrations, additional components or new solutions to improve functionality, efficiency and user experience.

About You The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst, ICT Business Analyst or in a closely related ICT systems role
- A relevant qualification in Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of ICT systems, business processes, operational requirements and system workflows
- Experience consulting with users to gather, analyse and document business and system requirements
- Ability to identify system limitations, inefficiencies, integration issues and improvement opportunities
- Experience preparing functional specifications, requirements documents, workflow diagrams, process models, data models and technical documentation
- Experience supporting system configuration, integration, testing,



implementation and deployment
- Knowledge of system testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, quality assurance and change-management processes
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Google Workspace, ERP, CRM or similar business platforms
- Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and project coordination skills
- Effective communication skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to system quality, data integrity and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Relevant Australian work rights

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with users, management and technical stakeholders to identify operational needs and define business and system requirements
- Review existing ICT systems, processes, procedures and workflows to identify limitations, risks and inefficiencies
- Recommend system modifications, integrations, additional components or new systems where appropriate
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and system documentation
- Use data modelling, process modelling and workflow mapping techniques to develop practical system specifications
- Prepare requirements documents, functional specifications, system diagrams, data-flow diagrams, process notes and implementation documentation
- Assess proposed solutions against business requirements, technical standards and user expectations




- Collaborate with developers, ICT support teams, external vendors and business users throughout system design and implementation
- Prepare and implement system test plans to assess functionality, reliability, performance and data integrity
- Coordinate system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect tracking and issue resolution
- Monitor implementation activities to confirm that approved requirements have been delivered correctly
- Review system performance and user feedback and recommend improvements to functionality, usability and business workflows
- Review and improve user-access procedures, account-management processes, permission controls and shared-data structures
- Support system transitions, upgrades and changes to business processes
- Prepare user guides, operating procedures, training materials and technical support documentation
- Provide system training and practical guidance to staff and other business users
- Maintain accurate system records, configuration details, issue registers, testing records and operational reports
- Monitor system performance, service requests, recurring issues and operational incidents
- Assist with user-account and system-access requirements during employee onboarding and offboarding
- Provide advice and practical technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience
- Perform other related systems-analysis and ICT project duties as reasonably required
