Lead Medical Imaging Systems Support at Logan Hospital

Lead the day-to-day support of critical Medical Imaging systems across Metro South and help drive smarter, more reliable healthcare services.

Your new role

As a Senior Systems Support Officer, you will coordinate the day-to-day operational support of Medical Imaging systems across Logan, Beaudesert, Redland and Dunwich Hospitals. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you'll provide technical leadership, coordinate system support activities and help ensure PACS, RIS and associated applications remain reliable, effective and fit for purpose.

- Coordinate first-line technical support, troubleshooting, system integrations, upgrades and enhancements across Medical Imaging systems.
- Provide specialist support across PACS, RIS and associated applications, including quality assurance and system optimisation.
- Lead or independently deliver projects, coordinating resources, implementation activities and agreed timeframes.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system performance and service delivery, and coordinate approved improvements.

About You You are a technically skilled and team-oriented professional who can combine strong systems knowledge with operational leadership. You'll be confident coordinating competing priorities, providing practical technical advice and working with a range of clinical, technical and external stakeholders to achieve reliable outcomes.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on practical solutions.
- Proven ability to coordinate workloads,



support staff development and provide operational leadership.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to deliver systems training.
- Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.

About Us Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.





We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
