- Salary Range: $ 85,000 - $105,000 Superannuation (Commensurate with experience)

We are a well-established Chartered Accounting firm based in the heart of Southport. We genuinely pride ourselves on maintaining a supportive culture that values life outside of work. We are now seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Tax Compliance: Prepare and lodge Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS) for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports for a diverse portfolio of clients.

- Client Advisory: Assist senior team members in providing high-quality tax planning and compliance advice.

- Data Management:



Review and reconcile client accounting data using up-to-date cloud platforms.

About You (Key Qualifications & Qualities)

- Qualifications: Degree-qualified in Accounting, and currently studying towards or fully completed your CA or CPA qualification.

- Experience: Proven hands-on experience working on the job as a Tax Accountant within a public practice accounting firm.

- Software Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of major online accounting software packages, including Xero, QuickBooks Online, and MYOB, alongside practice management software (such as APS).

- Location: Living in or near Southport, QLD, allowing you to enjoy a seamless daily commute to our central office.

- Attributes: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude towards professional development, and an excellent eye for detail.
