We're looking for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team in Colac.

n

This is an opportunity to step into a rewarding role within the radiology industry, where no two days are exactly the same and the work you do genuinely matters to our patients.

New to radiology? We'll train you!

n

You don't need years of radiology experience to be successful in this role.

n

We provide comprehensive paid training in Melbourne to ensure you understand our systems, processes and the radiology environment before you step into your role in Colac.

n

And because we know travelling for training isn't always easy, accommodation in Melbourne will be provided and paid for by us during your training period.

n

You'll then return to Colac with the knowledge and confidence to hit the ground running, with ongoing support from our wider team.

n

What you'll be doing

n

As one of the first people our patients meet, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Greeting and assisting patients
n
- Answering and managing incoming phone calls
n
- Booking appointments and managing patient diaries
n
- Registering patients and updating their information
n
- Checking Medicare and referral details
n
- Processing payments and general administration
n
- Liaising with patients, doctors and radiologists
n
- Managing appointment changes and patient enquiries
n
- Using our booking and medical systems
n
- Supporting your reception team throughout the day
n
- Providing friendly, professional and compassionate patient service
n

Previous medical reception or radiology experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

A reliable car is essential

n

As our Colac clinic is located outside Melbourne, you will need a reliable car and current driver's licence to travel to and from the clinic.
