A global leader in level, pressure and point‑level instrumentation is seeking a technically minded

Internal Sales Person

to join their Australian team based in Caringbah.

This role suits someone with a mechanical, electrical or technical product background who enjoys problem‑solving, customer interaction and supporting sales teams with accurate product information. You do

not

need to be an engineer — but you must be confident working with technical products and industrial customers.

About the Role Reporting to the internal sales function, you will provide front‑line technical sales support to customers, distributors and internal teams. You will handle incoming enquiries, prepare quotations, assist with product selection, and support external sales with documentation and customer follow‑ups.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role requiring strong communication skills, technical aptitude and the ability to learn a specialised product range.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to incoming customer enquiries via phone and email

Provide product information, pricing and technical guidance

Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers

Support external sales with documentation and customer updates





Build strong relationships with councils, water authorities, mining clients, EPCs and contractors

Technical Product Support

Assist customers with basic product selection for level, pressure and point‑level instrumentation

Communicate technical features, benefits and applications

Work with datasheets, product codes and configuration options

Liaise with technical teams when specialised support is required

Maintain CRM records and customer data

Process orders, product codes and documentation

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for dispatch and delivery

Support internal reporting and sales activity tracking

What You’ll Need

Minimum

2 years’ experience

in internal sales, customer service or technical product support

Background in

mechanical, electrical, instrumentation or industrial products

Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with technical customers

Ability to understand basic technical information (datasheets, product codes, specifications)

A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset

Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
