Location: Launceston, Tasmania

Salary: $99,000 - $189,000 p.a.

Start Date: 1 February 2027

About the Role

Multiple opportunities are available for Basic Physician Trainees, Service Registrars, and RMOs at a major regional teaching hospital. Gain broad exposure across a wide range of medical specialties in a supportive training environment with robust exam preparation, teaching, and research opportunities. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide inpatient and outpatient medical care.
- Participate in rotations across multiple medical specialties.
- Manage ward patients and contribute to multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in teaching, training, and professional development.
- Support quality improvement and research activities.

Essential Criteria

- General or limited registration with AHPRA.
- Eligible for BPT, Service Registrar,



or RMO positions.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and patient-centred care.
