About the Role

An opportunity for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine to join a major regional health service in Tropical North Queensland. You will provide specialist emergency care, support rural clinicians, and contribute to education, training, and service improvement initiatives. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide specialist emergency medical care.
- Manage ED and Short Stay Unit patients.
- Support rural facilities and patient transfers.
- Participate in education and training.
- Contribute to quality and patient safety initiatives.

Essential Criteria

- MBBS or equivalent.
- AHPRA Specialist Registration or eligibility.




- Fellowship in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Commitment to quality patient care.
