About the Role
Join a dynamic regional health service at Albany Health Campus delivering high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and community-based general medicine services. You will rotate across inpatient care, Hospital in the Home, outpatient clinics, rapid access pathways, and consultation-liaison services. The role involves clinical leadership, driving safety and quality outcomes, and supervising registrars, RMOs, and interns in a supportive training environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient general medicine services
- Lead Hospital in the Home and hospital avoidance programs
- Provide consultation and perioperative medical advice
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior doctors
- Contribute to quality improvement and service innovation
- Participate in rostered on-call and weekend coverage
Essential Criteria
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Fellowship of RACP (or eligibility) in General Medicine
- Significant relevant clinical experience
- Robust leadership and commitment to teaching
