Salary: $222,789 – $319,701 p.a. (pro rata) + 12% super + benefits

A rewarding chance for a Staff Specialist in General Pathology within a public pathology service supporting a major referral hospital in Northern Tasmania. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality pathology services to hospitals, specialists, and the community. The role offers a diverse case mix in a well-regarded regional tertiary setting, with strong opportunities for professional development and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality general pathology services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement
- Participate in professional development and academic activities
- Support service delivery to hospital and community stakeholders

Essential Criteria

- Specialist registration (or eligibility)



in Pathology
- IMGs on a recognised specialist pathway considered
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Experience in Anatomical, Cytopathology or Chemical Pathology (desirable)
