Job Description

You will own the day-to-day performance of Good Games Online's warehouse, leading the team across receiving, putaway, replenishment, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch and returns. This is a hands-on role focused on safety, accuracy, speed, team capability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and lead daily workflow, rosters and labour to meet order, receiving and dispatch priorities.

- Ensure orders are picked, packed and shipped accurately and on time, including during new releases, promotions and peak periods.

- Own stock accuracy through disciplined receiving, putaway, replenishment, cycle counts, stocktakes and discrepancy resolution.
n
- Maintain clear, efficient processes across inbound, storage, fulfilment, returns, damaged stock and outbound handover.
n
- Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team, setting clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity and attendance.
n
- Track and improve operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, order errors, productivity and time to dispatch.

- Improve warehouse layout, workflows and system use as volumes and range grow.

- Work with ecommerce, procurement, customer service, finance, suppliers and carriers to resolve issues and deliver improvements.

About you

- Proven experience managing or supervising an ecommerce, retail or high-SKU warehouse.
n
- Solid people leadership and confidence setting expectations, coaching performance and remaining hands-on when needed.
n
- Strong knowledge of receiving, inventory control, pick-pack-dispatch, returns and stocktake processes.
n
- Comfortable using warehouse or inventory systems, spreadsheets and operational data to manage performance and solve root causes.
n
- Highly organised, calm under pressure and committed to accuracy, ownership and continuous improvement.
n
- Strong understanding of work health and safety and the discipline to maintain a clean, compliant operation.
n
- Experience managing ecommerce peaks, promotions or major product releases.
n
- Experience improving warehouse layouts, processes, systems or automation.
n
- A current forklift licence, first aid certification or other relevant warehouse qualifications.
