Position Details Our Early Learning Centre at St Mary’s College Broome is a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our youngest students as they commence their journey of quality catholic pre-K to 12 schooling.

Our Early Year offerings are designed to support the development of foundational skills, including social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive skills. We believe in creating a play-based learning environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and learn through hands-on experiences and inquiry-based learning opportunities.

We invite applications for a Primary Teacher – Early Childhood qualified to join our dynamic, experienced and dedicated early years educators, who are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for your child. We work closely with families to ensure that each child’s individual needs are met, and that they are supported in their learning journey.

- Willingness to identify with and support the Catholic ethos of the school.




- Demonstrate a strong understanding of curriculum content and evidence-based teaching practices with high expectations for all students, Including individualised programming.
- Valuable interpersonal skills with students and adults.
- Well-developed written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability in using technology in the learning process.
- Deliver a quality learning program comprised of a differentiated curriculum that engages and challenges learners; and timely, individualised feedback Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Have an understanding of working in a trauma informed positive behaviour support (PBS) setting with high expectations for all students.

Qualifications Required

- Relevant 4-year tertiary qualification.
- Current registration with Teachers Registration Board WA.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- To be eligible to apply for this role you must be legally permitted to work in Australia
