The Company Our client is undertaking a significant workplace transformation initiative and is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Technical Architect to provide architectural leadership across Microsoft technologies.

The Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Modern Workplace Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and modern workplace solutions.

Working closely with stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists, you will provide architectural leadership across Microsoft workplace technologies while ensuring alignment with security, governance, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

- Define and lead Modern Workplace architecture across Microsoft technologies
- Design secure workplace solutions aligned with organisational and government security requirements
- Provide architectural guidance across Microsoft 365 services and end-user computing platforms
- Lead technical workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
- Produce architecture artefacts, standards, roadmaps, and technical documentation
- Support implementation planning and transition activities
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Provide expertise across identity, collaboration, productivity, device management, and security technologies




- Contribute to technical governance and design assurance processe

What Our Client Requires

Essential

- Demonstrated experience as a Modern Workplace Architect or Technical Architect
- Strong expertise across Microsoft workplace technologies and solution architecture
- Experience delivering complex enterprise technology programs
- Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven ability to develop architecture documentation and technical designs
- Experience working within structured governance environments
- Existing AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (or higher)
- Ability to work onsite in Canberra

Highly Regarded

- Experience working within Federal Government environments
- Microsoft architecture or Modern Workplace certifications
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Experience supporting architecture through delivery and operational transition
