We are looking for a Technical Services Superintendent to join our Jundee Operations. Reporting to the Alternate Underground Manager, you will lead the technical services team, monitor daily production and infrastructure performance, and drive practical improvements that deliver value for the operation.

- Build the experience and capability required to progress to an Alternate Underground Manager role.
- Lead technical teams with the freedom and accountability to create value for the operation and its stakeholders.
- Monitor daily production and infrastructure performance and drive changes to achieve the best outcomes.
- Provide clear direction to Engineers, Foremen and Shift Supervisors on schedules and plans.
- Lead technical problem-solving and develop practical, efficient solutions to operational challenges.
- Supervise, mentor and develop engineering and technical personnel through coaching, training and regular appraisals.

Where you’ll add value:

- Strong underground production and mine planning experience.
- Experience in highly productive narrow-vein mining and exposure to a range of mining methods.
- Proven experience leading and developing professional technical teams.
- Strong mine planning and design capability.
- Proficiency in Deswik CAD and Scheduler or similar platforms, and Ventsim.
- A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement and cost management.
- Strong alignment with Northern Star’s STARR Core Values, with the ability to set standards and build a culture of ownership and accountability.

Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
- WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency or the ability to obtain.




- WA C Class Drivers Licence.
