About the role

Master Instruments Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Technical Sales Representative to join the Sydney team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Milperra, Sydney NSW.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial, commercial, government and corporate clients.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, commercial and government sectors.

- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess technical requirements and provide suitable product solutions.

- Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders and product recommendations.

- Provide technical advice regarding batteries, portable power systems, DC power products and related technologies.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

- Manage key customer accounts and support ongoing business development initiatives.

- Liaise with engineering, operations and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

- Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving business growth targets.

- Maintain accurate customer and sales records using CRM and ERP systems.

About you





- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.

- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development or account management within a B2B environment.

- Strong ability to identify and develop current business opportunities.

- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Experience within the industrial, electrical, electronics, energy storage, battery or power solutions sectors (desirable).

- Experience preparing technical quotations, tenders and proposals (desirable).
