About the Role

Cumberland Hospital, part of the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD), is seeking a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join its Adult Rehabilitation Psychiatry team. This role focuses on providing long-term, recovery-oriented psychiatric care to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, supporting their transition back into the community.

You will:

- Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and rehabilitation-focused care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and peer workers.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff and trainees.
- Contribute to service development,



quality improvement, and research initiatives.
