Our client is an established Sydney accounting firm known for taking a personal approach to its clients. The team works with individuals and business owners on their tax obligations, financial reporting and the decisions that help their businesses move forward.

The role
You will work across a portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Managing compliance deadlines and responding to client accounting and tax queries.
- Reviewing financial information, identifying issues and discussing practical solutions with clients and managers.
- Contributing to tax planning and advice on cash flow, budgets, business performance and structures.
- Building strong client relationships through explicit communication and reliable follow-through.
- Supporting less experienced accountants by sharing your knowledge and reviewing work where appropriate.
About you
You will have solid experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm and be confident preparing business services and tax compliance work. You’ll enjoy working directly with clients, take pride in the quality of your work and want to develop your advisory skills further.
CA or CPA qualification, or progress towards it, would be valued.
