Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) & Room Leader

The Trustee for ESSENTIAL EARLY LEARNING – Mount Pritchard NSW You will lead the educational program in one of our rooms, working alongside a small, supportive team of educators. You will plan, implement and evaluate an educational program aligned with the EYLF V2.0 and the National Quality Standard, maintain learning documentation, observations and children's portfolios, lead and mentor educators in the room, supporting their planning cycle practice, build genuine, respectful partnerships with families, contribute to our Quality Improvement Plan and self-assessment, and support implementation of the Child Safe Standards and all service policies and procedures. respectful partnerships with families Contribute to our Quality Improvement Plan and self-assessment Support implementation of the Child Secure Standards and all service policies and procedures About you ACECQA-approved four-year Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent early childhood teaching qualification Current NESA teacher accreditation (Provisional, Conditional or Proficient) Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance Current HLTAID012 first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certification Current Child Protection Awareness training Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, and EYLF V2.0 Strong written documentation skills and the ability to lead a room team Experience as a Room Leader or Educational Leader (desirable) Experience preparing a service for Assessment and Rating (desirable) Familiarity with OWNA or similar childcare management software (desirable) 2 hours paid non-contact time per week for programming Support and mentoring toward Proficient accreditation Employer-funded first aid and CPR renewals A small service where you have a genuine say in how the program runs Free on-site parking About us Essential Early Learning is a long day care service located in Mount Pritchard, operating Monday to Friday, 7am–6pm.
