Cafe Assistant

to join our team at our aged care residence at Bellmere. Working in our Café you will be capable in all aspects of operating a café and providing services to our residents, visitors, our team and our local community. What This Role Involves

Short order cooking and food preparation. Barista duties – making a variety of coffees in a timely manner. Customer service - serving our residents, staff and external customers Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas. Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices. Fast, effective service throughout busy periods. Getting to know our residents and their needs, capabilities,



likes + dislikes.

What we require from you

Previous experience in

food preparation is a must . Barista experience is an advantage, but not essential Self-motivated and able to work well alone and in a team. A motivated, enthusiastic and positive 'can-do' attitude. Ability to work in a quick-paced time-sensitive environment. Pride in personal appearance & hygiene. Must be available for weekend work

Individuals in these roles are required to comply with statutory and Government requirements, such as public health directions, in place from time to time including requirements with respect to NDIS Worker Screening Checks and influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
