As Practice Manager, you will be the person who helps bring together the people, systems and day-to-day operations of the practice. You will lead and support our therapy and administration team, oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic and champion an exceptional experience for children and families. Your role is to make sure the right things happen, the right people are supported and the practice continues to run and grow well.

Key responsibilities

Lead and support our therapy and administration team, providing guidance on non-clinical matters and helping create a positive, supportive workplace

Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic, including scheduling, diaries, staffing, facilities and general operations

Champion an exceptional experience for children and families, from their first enquiry and intake through to their ongoing therapy

Oversee billing, invoicing, accounts and administrative processes, ensuring things are accurate, timely and well organised

Manage and improve the systems and processes that support the practice, including Halaxy and Microsoft 365

Develop and maintain SOPs, policies and procedures as the practice evolves

Coordinate school holiday groups and other practice initiatives

Contribute to service development, recruitment, practice growth and future planning

Work with external contractors and service providers when required

Keep an eye on how the practice is tracking and proactively address anything that needs attention

Previous experience in practice or clinic management, operations or a similar leadership role is essential

Experience

3+ Previous experience in practice or clinic management, operations or a similar leadership role is essential.

Experience in allied health, paediatrics, NDIS or Halaxy would be an advantage, but we are more interested in finding the right person with the right approach than ticking every box.
