Adgrowth is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with around 2–3 years of professional experience to join our small team in Chippendale.

We’re a boutique performance marketing agency working with ecommerce and consumer brands across paid media and creative.

A big part of your role will be designing lots of static ads for Meta, Instagram and other digital channels.

You’ll have access to hooks, copy, customer insights, brand assets and creative references. Your job is to use your design judgment to turn those inputs into strong, on-brand advertising.

Sometimes that might mean taking a creative format that’s performing well and reinterpreting it through a client’s visual identity. Other times you’ll be rolling a successful idea out across different executions, formats and sizes.

Because we’re a small team, there’ll also be the occasional EDM, flyer, web asset or random design job thrown into the mix. You may also occasionally help capture simple photo or video content for ads.

Basically, lots of designing, lots of different brands, and lots of work that actually goes live.

The role will happily bounce between paid‑social ads, client collateral and the occasional bit of content capture. Small agency life, basically. Come have a coffee and we’ll talk you through it.

What you’ll be doing

Designing static ads for Meta, Instagram and other digital channels

Taking hooks, references, copy and brand assets and turning them into strong, on-brand ads

Reinterpreting successful and trending creative formats through each client’s visual identity

Rolling strong concepts out across different executions, sizes and formats

Working across a bunch of different client brands and visual styles

Using your design judgment to select and develop creative references that suit the brief

Using AI tools alongside your normal design workflow to explore concepts, generate assets, iterate and experiment

Making amends and turning feedback around quickly

Occasionally helping capture simple photo or video content for ads

Occasionally working on email design, web assets, flyers and other marketing collateral

Things we’d like to see

Around 2–3 years of professional graphic design experience

A strong portfolio and solid design fundamentals

Strong Adobe Creative Suite & Canva skills

Good typography, layout and visual hierarchy

Ability to take a transparent brief and turn it into finished creative

Proof of roll out ability

Comfortable working across different brands and visual identities

Good written communication

Happy receiving regular creative feedback and making amends

Experience we’d love, but isn’t essential

Creating a high volume of ads or social creative.

Copywriting / strong word skills

Ecommerce or consumer-brand experience

Motion or basic video editing

Photography or filming experience

Experience experimenting with AI image, video or creative tools

This is initially a 6-month role, with the potential to become permanent if it works well for both sides.
