Truck Washer / Yard Cleaner - Day Shift

Thomastown VIC | 9:00am - 5:00pm | $34.39 per hour | Ongoing Work

APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Washer / Yard Cleaner / Yard Hand to join a busy poultry operation in Thomastown.

n

This is a hands-on day shift position suited to someone who is physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors. Previous experience in truck washing, yard cleaning, commercial cleaning, warehouse cleaning or general yard duties is highly regarded.

The Role

n

As a Truck Washer / Yard Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Washing and cleaning trucks and commercial vehicles
n




- Operating pressure washers and cleaning equipment
n
- Cleaning and maintaining the truck yard
n
- Sweeping and keeping outdoor areas clean and tidy
n
- Removing rubbish and general waste
n
- Maintaining a safe and organised work workplace
n
- Completing general yard hand duties
n
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
n
- Assisting with other site duties as required
n

About You

n

We are looking for candidates who have:

n

n
- Previous experience as a Truck Washer, Yard Hand, Yard Cleaner, Cleaner or Labourer
n
- Experience with pressure washing or vehicle cleaning is highly regarded
n
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
n
- Ability to work outdoors
n
- Strong attention to detail
n
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
n
- Ability to work independently and within a team
n
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- Reliable transport to Thomastown
