This is a niche role, and we understand that finding someone who already has experience across every part of it can be difficult. That's okay — we're not looking for someone who knows it all.

We're looking for someone with a solid background in transport, logistics, freight, warehousing, scheduling, administration or customer service who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow into an Operations Coordinator position.

n

Full Training & Handover Provided

n

You won't be thrown in the deep end. The current person in the role will provide a full handover, and we'll train you in the technical side of the position, including customs, biosecurity and our operational processes.

About the Role

n

You'll help coordinate day-to-day operations across transport, warehouse and wash bay, including:

n

- Coordinating containers, cargo and daily jobs
n
- Biosecurity and container inspections
n
- Customs clearances and documentation
n
- Liaising with customers, customs brokers and freight forwarders
n
- Coordinating washing and fumigation requirements
n
- Following up outstanding jobs and issues
n
- Keeping systems, records and paperwork up to date
n
- Managing changing priorities throughout the day
n

About You

n

- Has full Australian working rights
n
- Has good English literacy,



numeracy and communication skills required to confidently complete documentation, communicate with customers and suppliers, and work effectively with the internal team

- Stays calm and organised when things get busy
n
- Can prioritise, problem-solve and get things done
n
- Works well with others and fits into a team environment
n
- Takes ownership and doesn't need to be chased
n
- Has good computer and administration skills
n
- Is ready to learn and take the next step in their career

Hours & Flexibility

n

Monday to Friday | 38 hours per week

n

Our usual hours are around 8:00am–4:00pm. As we're in transport, things don't always run exactly to the clock, so some flexibility is required. There may be days where you need to start earlier or finish later, but flexibility works both ways — depending on the needs of the business and the hours worked, there will also be days where you can start earlier and finish earlier or leave earlier.
