Your new role

As a Third-Party Cyber Risk Specialist, you'll be responsible for conducting end-to-end vendor security risk assessments, from intake and risk tiering through to assessment outcomes and treatment recommendations. Working closely with the Cyber Resilience team, you'll assess third-party security controls, communicate findings to stakeholders, and help improve third-party risk management processes and frameworks.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you'll bring demonstrated experience conducting third-party, vendor or supplier security risk assessments and a strong understanding of cyber risk management principles. You'll have the ability to assess security controls across areas such as access management, vulnerability management,



incident response and data protection. Strong stakeholder engagement and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple assessments independently.

Experience with Australian Government security frameworks such as PSPF and ISM, along with certifications including CISSP, CISM or CCSP, will be highly regarded.
