Australia Network Services Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team in Strathfield, NSW.

This role involves working across our clients’ construction projects, including residential homes, commercial buildings, and public spaces throughout Sydney. You will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Position Details

- Position: Wall and Floor Tiler – Full-Time
- Salary: A$90,000–A$98,000 per annum, plus superannuation
- Location: Strathfield and various project sites across Sydney, NSW
- Work arrangement: In person
- Flexible working hours may be available
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience is required for this role

Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: Clean, level, and prime surfaces to ensure tiles adhere correctly.
- Tile selection and layout: Select appropriate tiles based on project and design requirements and arrange them according to specified plans, patterns, and layouts.
- Tile cutting: Accurately measure and cut tiles using suitable tools to fit around pipes, corners, edges, and other obstacles.
- Adhesive application: Prepare and evenly apply adhesives, mortar, and other bonding materials before tile installation.
- Tile installation: Carefully position and install tiles in the required rows or patterns, ensuring correct alignment and consistent spacing.
- Grouting: Apply grout between tiles to create a clean, finished appearance and protect tiled areas from moisture penetration.
- Sealing: Apply suitable sealants to tiled surfaces to protect them from stains,



water damage, and general wear.
- Quality inspection: Inspect completed tiling work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
- Repairs and maintenance: Replace damaged tiles, complete re-grouting work, and perform general maintenance to keep tiled surfaces in good condition.
- Health and safety: Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment to minimise the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Customer interaction: Communicate professionally with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide appropriate recommendations.

Skills and Experience Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- At least two years of proven experience working as a tiler.
- Good knowledge of tiling methods, techniques, and materials.
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Good physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
