Location: Direk, SA The Opportunity Freighter Group is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and service providers of semi-trailers and transport equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Trailer Technician to join our Service team in Direk.

What You'll Be Doing As a Trailer Technician, your responsibilities will include:

- Servicing and repairing trailer equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults on brake, suspension and air systems
- Replacing bearings, hubs, axles and associated trailer components
- Performing general mechanical maintenance and reconditioning work
- Completing repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Undertaking fabrication and welding repairs where required
- Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation
- Supporting a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For You may possess:
- Experience in trailer, heavy vehicle, automotive, agricultural equipment, plant or transport maintenance




- A trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive, Engineering Fabrication or a related field (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience working with brakes, suspensions, axles and air systems
- Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
