Yass Pre-Kindergarten

Yass Pre-Kindergarten is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate educator to join our welcoming, supportive and dedicated team.

We are seeking a Trainee or Certificate III qualified Educator who is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care and who genuinely enjoys supporting children to learn, grow and thrive.

Our centre caters for 39 children each day, aged 0–6 years, across three learning environments: Babies, Toddlers and Preschool. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn through play.

Our educators work collaboratively to provide meaningful, child-led learning experiences that recognise and support each child's individual strengths, interests and development.

About the Role

As an Educator, you will:

- Build warm, respectful and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Create engaging learning environments that support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Observe, document and contribute to each child's individual learning and development.
- Support children's daily routines, including meals, rest and personal care.
- Respond sensitively and appropriately to children's emotional and individual needs.
- Contribute to curriculum planning in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional and supportive team.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming workplace for all children.

Essential Criteria

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care,



or a willingness to undertake a Traineeship.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain.
- Current Child Protection training.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality education and care.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to children's safety, wellbeing and learning.

Desirable

- Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.
- Experience with observations, planning and documentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
