Training Lead – SAP S/4HANA | Brisbane | 12-Month Contract

QIX Consulting is seeking an experienced Training Lead to join a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program within the public sector.

This is a senior Learning & Capability role supporting the migration from a customised SAP ECC6 environment to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud. Working across a large and complex transformation delivered using SAP Activate, you will lead the end-to-end training workstream and ensure impacted employees are equipped to successfully adopt new SAP processes, systems and ways of working.

The Role

As Training Lead, you will take ownership of the Learning & Capability workstream across multiple transformation waves.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute the overall Training Strategy and Training Plan
- Lead Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) alongside Fit-to-Standard and solution design activities
- Design persona-based and role-specific learning pathways across different workforce groups
- Translate change impacts and SAP solution designs into targeted learning interventions
- Lead the development of training materials, facilitator guides, simulations, digital learning assets and job aids
- Develop and govern learning content using SAP WalkMe
- Plan and deliver end-user training and Train-the-Trainer activities
- Establish and enable Super User and Trainer networks
- Coordinate training environments, scenarios and exercises with SAP functional and technical teams
- Track training completion, competency, learner engagement and readiness through LMS reporting and assessments
- Manage training-related risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies




- Support refresher training and capability reinforcement through deployment, Hypercare and transition to BAU
- Work closely with the Change Lead, System Integrators, PMO and business stakeholders to ensure training and change activities are fully integrated

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- Extensive experience leading Training / Learning & Capability workstreams on large-scale ERP transformation programs
- Strong experience working within SAP transformation environments
- Demonstrated experience with Learning Needs Analysis, curriculum design and role-based learning pathways
- Hands-on experience developing and governing learning content using SAP WalkMe
- Proven experience designing and delivering Train-the-Trainer and Super User programs
- Experience delivering training across large, complex and multi-site organisations
- Experience supporting frontline, operational and/or distributed workforces
- Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training completion/competency reporting
- Strong facilitation, workshop leadership and stakeholder engagement capability
- Experience working within complex multi-vendor transformation environments

- SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud experience
- Experience working within SAP Activate methodology
- Public sector transformation experience
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP deployments across multiple functions or waves
- Experience with post-go-live training, Hypercare and ongoing capability uplift

About You

You are an experienced Training Lead who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on across training design and delivery. You are comfortable working within complex SAP transformation environments and can translate technical and business process changes into practical learning experiences for diverse workforce groups.

You will bring robust stakeholder management skills and the ability to work closely with Change, functional SAP teams, technical teams and business leaders to ensure the organisation is genuinely ready for go-live.

The Opportunity

This is a 12-month contract based in Brisbane, commencing ASAP, with a robust possibility of extension or permanent conversion.

You will have the opportunity to lead Learning & Capability across a significant enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation, working across multiple business functions and directly contributing to workforce readiness, adoption and successful transition to BAU.
