Prince Fabrications is a structural steel and stainless pipework fabrication business at Wetherill Park, certified to CC2 (AS/NZS 5131) and ISO 3834.2. We run a 5-axis 6kW fibre tube laser alongside a full fabrication workshop, serving construction, mining and industrial equipment clients.
We need an operator/programmer to own the tube laser cell.
What you'll do:
- Program and nest parts from customer drawings and NC/DSTV files
- Set up and run the machine across RHS, SHS, pipe, angle, channel and beam
- Load, unload, deburr and QA check parts against drawings
- Complete dimensional check sheets and job paperwork
- Basic machine maintenance and consumables management
What you'll need:
- Experience on a tube laser or flatbed laser (we'll train the right person from flatbed or CNC machining)
- Confident reading fabrication drawings — this is the non-negotiable
- Nesting/CAM software experience, or the aptitude to pick it up fast
- Reliable and self-motivated — you'll run the cell without someone standing over you
- Forklift licence an advantage
What's on offer:
- $37 – $47 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday days
