The Role

We are looking for hands on team player to assist in delivering high-quality vehicle and equipment installations across a range of projects for our client sites. This role involves installing communications and electronic equipment into light and heavy vehicles, mentoring junior installers and ensuring project deliverables are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This a full time position in a fixed term or permanent basis, this will be dependent on upcoming project works.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installations of radio frequency and electronic equipment in 12V and 24V vehicles
- Install antennas and communications equipment to company and client standards
- Conduct VSWR testing on coaxial cable installations
- Complete installation activities to meet project schedules and contractual requirements
- Commission vehicle and equipment installations on behalf of clients
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Identify and escalate technical issues when required

To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:





- Minimum 2 years' experience installing radio frequency and electronic equipment in light and heavy vehicles
- Certificate III in Telecommunications, Auto Electrical, Automotive Accessory Fitting or equivalent trade qualification
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Construction Induction White Card
- Current Working at Heights certification
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Sound communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced technical environment

- Open Cabler Registration
- First Aid Certificate
- High Risk Work Licence (WP)
