Coastal Central Queensland | Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse to join our established team at our purpose-built, 24-hour small animal hospital in coastal Central Queensland.

This is an chance for a Veterinary Nurse who wants to be actively involved in patient care, utilise their nursing skills and continue developing professionally within a busy and supportive hospital environment.

The Role

Our nurses rotate through consulting, medical and surgical nursing roles, providing exposure to a broad and interesting caseload.

Depending on your roster and role, you may be involved in:

- Nurse consultations
- Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
- Medical nursing
- Emergency and critical patient care
- Hospitalised patient management
- Diagnostic procedures
- Routine consultations and procedures
- Emergency presentations and emergency surgery
- Working alongside our veterinarians and visiting specialists

About You We’re looking for a nurse who:

- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

- Communicates well with clients and colleagues
