Experienced Veterinary Nurse – Permanent Part-Time

Warton Road Animal Hospital | Southern River We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Warton Road Animal Hospital.

We are seeking someone with at least 2–3 years of veterinary nursing experience who is confident, capable and enjoys working as part of a team.

About the role

This is a permanent part-time position working within our GP veterinary practice. You will work alongside our veterinary team across two-vet days, with a diverse role including:

- Surgical nursing and assisting with procedures
- Anaesthetic monitoring and patient care
- Patient admissions and discharges
- Assisting the vets throughout the day
- Maintaining a high standard of patient and client care
- Working collaboratively with the nursing and reception team

About you





We are looking for someone who:
- Has 2–3+ years’ experience as a Veterinary Nurse
- Is confident and competent in surgical nursing and anaesthesia
- Has good communication and organisational skills
- Is reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Is a team player who enjoys supporting their colleagues
- Has a genuine passion for providing excellent patient care
- Is an Australian citizen or permanent resident
