PT Services and Air Conditioning – Brendale QLD

A hands-on role where quality and customer service matter PT Services & Air Conditioning is looking for a reliable, well-presented and motivated Trades Assistant / Cleaning Technician to join our growing team.

This role will primarily focus on carrying out professional hydro cleaning and detailed cleaning of residential and commercial air conditioning systems, including split and ducted systems.

You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson and previous air conditioning experience isn't essential. We'll provide full training to the right person.

This isn't simply a cleaning job. The work you do plays an important role in maintaining our clients' air conditioning systems and is a cornerstone of the ongoing relationships and repeat business we have built with our customers.

We have high standards, and we're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in doing a job properly.

What you'll be doing Your day-to-day work will include:

Professional hydro cleaning of split-system air conditioners

Cleaning ducted air conditioning systems, including filters, grilles and other components as required

Carrying out detailed preventative cleaning and maintenance

Identifying and reporting potential issues with equipment to our Service Team

Taking before and after photographs and maintaining accurate job records

Completing jobs, notes and documentation through ServiceM8

Communicating professionally with residential and commercial clients onsite

Protecting and respecting clients' homes, workplaces and property while completing work

Maintaining your vehicle, equipment and work area to a professional standard

Working independently across a variety of residential and commercial sites





As your knowledge develops, there may also be opportunities to assist our qualified technicians with other air conditioning service and installation work.

What we're looking for You don't need an air conditioning trade qualification for this position.

We're more interested in finding someone who:

Has excellent customer service and communication skills

Presents professionally and is comfortable dealing directly with clients

Has solid attention to detail and takes pride in doing a job properly

Is reliable and able to manage their own day

Can work effectively and safely without constant supervision

Is comfortable using a smartphone and apps such as ServiceM8

Is practical, hands‑on and willing to learn

Is comfortable working across multiple residential and commercial sites throughout the day

Can work both independently and as part of a broader team

Essential

Current Australian manual driver's licence

Current White Card or ability to obtain this

Police check (we will cover costs for this to be obtained)

Highly regarded, but not required

IICRC accreditation

Previous experience in air conditioning, HVAC, property or facilities maintenance, trades assistance, hydro cleaning or a similar hands‑on role

Previous industry experience is certainly an advantage, but it is not essential. Full training in our processes, equipment and air conditioning hydro‑cleaning procedures will be provided to the right person.

$35–$45 per hour + super, depending on experience

Our field team is supported by a dedicated Service Manager, Estimator, Install & Project Manager and a full administration and operations team.

For this role, we're looking for someone who understands that our routine cleaning and preventative maintenance work is incredibly important. It's often the cornerstone of our repeat business and long‑term client relationships.
