Referral & Marketing Coordinator — Specialist Surgical Practice

12-month contract, with the possibility to extend | 3–5 days/week

n

We're a busy specialist practice — four surgeons plus a dedicated skin cancer GP — looking for someone to grow and manage our referral relationships with local GPs & specialists, alongside our broader marketing.

n

This isn't a desk-bound marketing role. You'll be out visiting clinics, building genuine relationships with practice managers and doctors, running CPD sessions, and making sure referrers feel looked after and kept in the loop. You'll also manage our website, online presence and reputation — all within the advertising rules that apply to health services.

What you'll be doing:

- Building and maintaining relationships with referring GPs and Specialists across our catchment and beyond— regular clinic visits, follow-up, re-engaging lapsed referrers

- Organising GP education sessions (CPD updates and events)
n
- Managing our website, Google presence, SEO, online reviews and social media

- Reporting on referral trends and relationship activity
n

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Proven relationship-building/business development experience, ideally in healthcare, pharmaceutical sales, or medical practice liaison
n
- Comfortable and confident visiting medical clinics in person and building rapport with clinicians and practice managers
n
- Working knowledge of (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn) AHPRA advertising guidelines under the National Law
n
- Basic digital marketing competency: website content management, Google Business Profile, social media
n
- Strong written communication skills for doctor-facing correspondence and newsletters
n
- Own vehicle and current driver's licence
n
