Full Stack Developer (4+ years): AI-Augmented

Build the software layer behind our managed event-internet hardware fleet: dashboards, monitoring, and customer tools, working directly alongside our CTO. You will report directly to our CTO. This isn't a seat in a large engineering org. You'll be a big cog in a small machine, with real influence over how things get built.

Key responsibilities

Customer-facing dashboards and monitoring tools built on real-time network data (WAN status, SpeedFusion, fleet health)

Software that talks to physical hardware (routers, APs and edge devices), not just other software

Internal tooling that helps deploy, monitor, and support gear in the field

About you

4+ years professional full stack development across front end, back end, and databases

Deep enough fundamentals to review, debug, and correct AI-generated code

Daily, fluent use of AI coding tools as part of your workflow (prompting, agentic tools, iterating on generated code)





Comfort working close to networking and hardware. You don't need to be a network engineer, but APIs, Docker, and troubleshooting device issues shouldn't scare you

Solid judgement on architecture and trade-offs

Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)

Excellent written and spoken communication

PopUp WiFi delivers temporary, managed internet for events, festivals, activations, broadcasts and construction sites, anywhere connectivity needs to appear fast and work reliably. We design, build, and operate our own hardware fleet (Peplink-based routing, bonded 5G, portable rack systems), and we're building out the software layer that sits on top of it: monitoring, dashboards, and customer-facing tools.
