About the role

n

Greenhill Aged Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated care team in Figtree, NSW.

n

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering protected, high-quality and compassionate clinical care to our residents. You will provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with care staff and the multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for residents.

n

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Providing safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care to residents.
n
- Undertaking comprehensive clinical assessments and developing, reviewing and updating individual care plans.
n
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and clinical guidelines.
n
- Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing and responding promptly to deterioration or changes in clinical condition.
n
- Coordinating care and communicating effectively with residents, representatives, medical practitioners and allied health professionals.
n
- Providing clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Assistants and other care team members.
n
- Maintaining accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation.
n
- Supporting effective clinical handovers and continuity of resident care.
n
- Participating in incident management, clinical reviews, audits and continuous improvement activities.
n
- Promoting resident choice, dignity,



independence and quality of life.
n
- Supporting compliance with aged-care legislation, quality standards and organisational policies and procedures.
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
n
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably within residential aged care.
n
- Sound clinical assessment, medication management and care-planning skills.
n
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and the clinical needs of older people.
n
- Ability to identify and respond appropriately to clinical deterioration.
n
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to build respectful and trusting relationships with residents and their representatives.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Commitment to delivering safe, respectful and high-quality care.
n
- Current National Police Check and other mandatory employment clearances.
n
