Job Description

SCIS Group is looking for a skilled Maintenance Handyman to join our team in Brisbane. You'll be based across three large-scale distribution centers for a major client, working a set weekly roster (Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm) scheduled by our office. From proactive checks to urgent repairs, you'll play a key role in keeping these sites running smoothly – knowing no two days are ever the same.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance across three rostered sites, keeping each facility safe, functional and running smoothly
n
- Managing jobs raised by the client, requests communicated directly on-site, and your own proactive inspections – taking true ownership of the site as if it were your own
n
- Using our mobile job app daily to manage and track your work
n
- Building strong, professional working relationships with on-site stakeholders and our office team
n
- Following site-specific safety procedures and maintaining a strong safety focus for yourself and those around you every day
n
- Managing your own workload and making smart decisions on priorities
n
- Working independently and as part of a supportive, skilled team
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- You're an experienced handyman who takes pride in your work, values safety, and enjoys solving problems.
n
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry is desired but not essential
n




- Experience providing maintenance on commercial sites is required
n
- Confident and professional communicator, comfortable liaising with clients and stakeholders on-site
n
- Comfortable using a mobile phone and mobile applications for day-to-day job management
n
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and other additional security clearances
n
