Job Description

Aeropower is seeking line workers to join our team on a permanent basis to carry out patrol, inspection and maintenance activities of network assets as part of helicopter and UAV crews across Australia.

Expressions of interest for an immediate commencement are currently being sought. Aerial experience is not necessary - training and development will be provided.

Applications from outside of Australia where candidates have full working rights will be considered.

Working pattern is field-based and nominally 19 days on, 9 days off. Aeropower will provide flights to and from working locations and accommodation while on tour. Salary package includes a meal allowance.

Aeropower will consider candidates based in most major centres in Australia or NZ. Other locations may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The minimum requirements for these positions are:

n

- Electrical line worker qualification/s
n




- Excellent understanding of WHS regulations and requirements
n
- Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and asset data entry to asset management systems
n
- Proven safety record
n

n

Highly desired requirements are:

n

n
- Transmission electrical line worker licence(Australia or NZ)
n
- Live Line qualifications and demonstrated experience in live line transmission work
n
- Applicants holding a Cert III ESI - Transmission will be highly regarded.
n
- Applicants with transmission experience but not an Australian or NZ licence will be considered.
n
- Distribution licence holders (Australia or NZ) will be considered.
n
