Achieve Group is seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers for ongoing outdoor works in the Townsville region.
n
This is a hands-on role involving general labouring, landscaping, minor concreting and installation works. We are looking for people who are physically fit, comfortable working outdoors and can work effectively as part of a crew.
n
Duties will include:
n
n
- Shovelling, raking and digging
n
- Installation of park furniture and bollards
n
- Minor concreting works, including formwork, setting and finishing
n
- Mulching and preparation of garden beds
n
- Planting and general landscaping
n
- Site preparation and clean-up
n
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
n
- General manual labouring
n
- Operating a skid steer/Bobcat where experienced and competent
n
n
To be successful you will need:
n
n
- Previous labouring, civil,
landscaping or construction experience
n
- Construction White Card
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
n
- Valuable level of physical fitness
n
- Experience using hand and power tools
n
- Ability to work outdoors in North Queensland conditions
n
- Strong safety awareness
n
- Reliable attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of duties
n
n
Highly regarded:
n
n
- Skid steer/Bobcat experience
n
- Skid steer VOC or demonstrated competency
n
- Concreting/formwork experience
n
- Landscaping or parks and gardens experience
n
- MR/HR licence
n
- Other plant operating experience
n
n
We're looking for a good all-round labourer who isn't afraid of physical work. Someone with landscaping/concreting experience who can also jump on a skid steer when required would be ideal.
