About Our Client

Our client is a highly respected builder and developer renowned for delivering luxury residential developments across Sydney. With a strong reputation in Sydney's premium suburbs and an impressive pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator - Class 2 Residential Apartment (New-build) to join their dynamic team.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will provide end-to-end contractual and commercial support on a new-build Class 2 apartment project. This is an opportunity to take ownership of key commercial activities while working closely with an experienced project team.

You will be responsible for:

- Administering head and subcontractor contracts
- Managing variations, progress claims and contract correspondence
- Supporting subcontract procurement and tender evaluations
- Maintaining cost reports, variation registers and cash-flow forecasts
- Reviewing project documentation, scope gaps and commercial risks
- Coordinating RFIs and supporting timely project delivery
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Supporting monthly reporting, meetings and commercial reviews
- Assisting with project completion, handover and final accounts




- Maintaining accurate documentation in line with company procedures
- Supporting compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards and statutory requirements

The role combines office-based work with regular site involvement.

About you

You will have:

- Demonstrated Contracts Administration experience on new-build Class 2 residential projects
- Experience on projects valued at approximately $20 million or above, preferred
- A qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract administration, variations and cost control
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines
