Luma Turf is a growing synthetic turf installation business servicing Brisbane, the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working and ambitious people to join us on a casual basis, with regular ongoing work and the potential for substantial weekly hours.

The work is varied and hands-on. Projects include residential synthetic turf installations, full landscape transformations, commercial projects, putting greens, sports surfaces, courts, playground areas, repairs, custom designs and more technical turf installations.

Depending on the project, work may include:

Excavation and site preparation

Base construction using road base and crusher dust

Compaction and levelling

Drainage preparation

Timber and other edging

Paving and landscape features

Synthetic turf installation

Precision cutting and joining

Sand infill, grooming and finishing

Loading, unloading and moving materials

General construction and landscaping work

Synthetic turf experience is not essential.

Construction, landscaping, paving, concreting, earthworks or other hands-on trade experience is highly regarded, with landscaping experience preferred.

We are particularly interested in people who:

The role is casual, with regular ongoing work and strong potential for substantial weekly hours as the business continues to grow.

For the right person, there is also potential to progress into a permanent full-time role as the business grows, with greater responsibility, earning potential and involvement in running projects.

For the right people, the goal is to create more than just a standard hourly labouring role.

Luma Turf is developing a performance-based model where team members are paid their normal rate, with opportunities to earn additional job-based bonuses when projects perform well.

The idea is simple: when the business performs well on a project, the people who helped deliver that result should have the opportunity to benefit as well.

Over time, there will also be opportunities for capable people to take on greater responsibility, help run jobs and become a key part of the business.

Landscape subcontractors

Synthetic turf installers

Construction subcontractors

Experienced ABN labourers

Subcontractor rates will depend on experience, tools, capability and level of responsibility.

Previous construction, landscaping or labouring experience

Where they are based

Whether they have reliable transport

Whether they hold a White Card

Whether they are applying as a casual employee or subcontractor
