Monash University invites applications for a PhD scholarship in Communication and Navigation for Blind and Low Vision People, based at Clayton campus in Melbourne. The project is part of a Monash AI institute collaboration between Arts and IT faculties. The successful candidate will conduct linguistic and multimodal research on how blind users interact with digital navigational technologies, using video ethnography, interviews and focus groups.
