About the role:

Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking motivated individuals to join us in the position of

Food Service Assistant

at

Modbury Hospital (Modbury)

on a

Casual

basis.

Key Responsibilities

Available to provide leave coverage for morning, afternoon and late shifts as needed

Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks

Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys

Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables

Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

About you:

Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service

Flexibility to work infrequent shifts across early mornings, afternoons and late shifts

Food Safety Certificate is required for this role

Ability to undergo a functional pre-employment medical

Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is

essential

DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is

essential

Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is

essential
