About the Winery

Located in the Tamar Valley, our Kayena Winery produces premium cool-climate Tasmanian wines, sourcing fruit from vineyards across the state.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and reliable Vintage Cellar Hands to join our winery team for Vintage 2027.

Vintage is a busy and rewarding period, running from late February to the end of April 2027. Successful applicants must be available for the full vintage period and willing to work shifts, weekends and overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate pumps, forklifts and winery equipment
- Receive, process and transfer grapes and wine
- Complete cleaning and sanitation of winery equipment and work areas
- Support day-to-day winery operations during vintage
- Adhere to all safety, quality and housekeeping requirements

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Previous winery, beverage,



food processing or manufacturing experience
- A current Australian LF Forklift Licence
- Demonstrated forklift operating experience in a production environment
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery
- The physical fitness to undertake manual and repetitive tasks
- Previous cellar hand experience and familiarity with winery pumps and processing equipment will be highly regarded.

Additional Requirements

International applicants must hold a valid Australian work visa covering the full vintage period through to at least May 2027.
