We are looking to hire a Videographer & Editor on a casual basis to join our team. Only apply if you have relevant and proven experience and a relevant showreel is a MUST!

Studio Orange is an Australian video production company with its headquarters in Perth. We are growing rapidly – so we need more good people to join our team.

We help our clients tell stories through video, animations and photography – we deliver our services in an engaging and friendly manner by our awesome team – and because we are really good at this there is a huge demand for what we do.

There is a range of roles and responsibilities we would like to fill, but the most important skill you will need to have for any of them is a flexible and creative approach to helping our customers get the most out of their video content.

We need help with all aspects of the creative process – from working on scripts & shoot plans to capturing video content, through to post-production.

It's really important to us that the person we're looking for is someone that is willing to learn current skills and work their way up the job ladder within our business. This is not a temporary position, we're looking for someone who is in it for the long run.

Requirements

- Being able to demonstrate that you have experience in video production in both editing & camera operation. You need to have a love and passion for camera operation, framing and narrative stories and storytelling.

- Positive attitude - this is a must.




- Confident in working with clients and directing on set
- Someone that thrives in a high-pressure environment, with calm and collected energy
- Technical knowledge of a range of video equipment (cameras, lighting & sound)
- Proficient using the Adobe CC including Premiere Pro
- Being able to work in a team environment and contribute to the team dynamic and culture actively.
- Willing to learn new skills & actively using AI in video production
- Creative!

What you'll do:

- Filming footage on location. Closely following a script, whilst being able to use your own initiative
- Prepping gear for shoots
- Video Editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Scripting and storyboarding
- Liasing with clients during shoots
