Your new role

As Village Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of a remote accommodation village. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional accommodation, catering, cleaning, facilities and guest services while maintaining compliance with contractual, safety and operational requirements.

Acting as the primary site representative, you will build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers, ensuring a positive resident experience and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the day-to-day operations of a remote accommodation village
- Leading and developing site-based teams across hospitality, housekeeping, catering, maintenance and administration functions
- Ensuring contractual service delivery standards and KPIs are consistently achieved
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements
- Managing village occupancy, accommodation allocation and guest experience initiatives
- Monitoring budgets, forecasting expenditure and identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery
- Conducting regular inspections and audits of accommodation, communal facilities and site infrastructure
- Preparing operational reports and providing updates to senior management and clients




- Responding to operational issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational performance
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while acting as the key point of contact for site stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in a Village Manager, Facilities Manager, Operations Manager, Camp Manager or similar leadership role
- Robust understanding of village, accommodation, hospitality or facilities management operations
- Demonstrated experience managing large, diverse teams within remote or operational environments
- Proven ability to manage budgets, operational performance and contractual obligations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and decision-making capabilities
- High level of competency in reporting, administration and operational planning
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer and resident experiences
- Understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience within mining, resources, remote accommodation, hospitality or facilities management environments will be highly regarded
